Iran Press/ Europe: The annual event held at the Islamic Centre of England aims to promote religious unity, combat sectarianism and defend Islamic values.
This event coincides with a similar unity conference held annually inside Iran. The Islamic Republic has come under sustained attack in recent weeks from western groups advocating for regime change following the unfortunate death of Iranian woman Mahsa Amini.
Mahsa Amini was a young Iranian woman who lost her life days after she was taken into a police station in the capital Tehran.
According to the footage of the Iran police CCTVs camera, Mahsa Amini fainted at the police department in Tehran on Tuesday after being taken there for violation of dress codes along with some other women.
The 22-year-old girl from Kurdistan died in hospital on Friday, September 16, 2022 despite intensive medical care and resuscitation efforts.
A group of people instigated protests under the pretext of the death of Mahsa Amini in Tehran, where seditionists among the people committed desecrations and crimes.
