Iran Press/ Iran News: The director of the Office of International Scientific Cooperation of the University of Isfahan announced on Friday, Isfahan's Naghsh Jahan Square, over its unique heritage, historical, economic and urban features, has been selected and introduced as an international cultural heritage asset for international organizations in a research project conducted by the European Union."
Sayyed Kamil Tayyebi stated that this research project entitled 'Investment Attraction Chain for Defining New Uses of the Cultural Heritage of Important Cities of the World' was implemented in the framework of the EU's 'Horizon 2020' project, adding: "Recently, Isfahan's Naghsh Jahan Square as an asset of the cultural heritage of the European Union was introduced and registered in this research project."
Horizon 2020 is a research project launched by the European Union in 2016 in various fields such as sustainable development, environment, clean energy, and cultural heritage, in collaboration with various institutions and universities around the world.
