Iran Press/ Iran news: According to Iran Press, Ebrahim Ali Borzi, the secretary of the festival noted: "Palestine and its youth's resistance against the occupation is the standard and the right measure in recognizing adherence to Islamic and humanitarian principles. Anyone who claims to defend human dignity and support Islamic values should be steadfast in defending the oppressed people of Palestine and not hesitate to take any action in this way."
He added: "The IRIB World Service Festival is also proud to support the ideas of producing various programs in support of the Palestinian people, and will grant its special award to this cause."
The secretary of the festival stated: "Every festival has its own goals, among the goals of this festival, we can mention a group of producers in the World Service and its TV networks, which includes more than 15 television channels and 30 radio channels which produce great works in the media field and many artists inside and outside the organization are unaware of it."
The first edition of the IRIB World Service Media Festival will be held with the aim of paving the ground for competition between the works and productions of the World Service in four sections. Television, radio, new ideas, and virtual space are the four parts of the festival.
