Iran Press/ Iran news: A Basij gathering conference," Freedom Pioneers," was held on November 23, 2022, in Tehran on the occasion of the establishment anniversary of the Basij (Resistance Mobilization Force) in Iran in 1979 by order of Imam Khomeini, the late Founder of the Islamic Revolution.
Attending the conference, Mohammad Reza Naghdi highlighted the epics of the Islamic Revolution and noted: "The Islamic Revolution was created by people from all walks of life, and all of us stand to defend and support it."
He said: "Enemies deployed all their sophisticated weapons against our nation, but they have failed."
Naghdi further said: "According to World statistics, Iran economically ranks 20, plus making promising successes in other fields."
The other keynote speaker, the head of the Student Basij, said that the message of the national body is that they are more determined to defend the country and Islamic Revolution's ideals.
Mohammed-Hossein Kafami stressed: "The Student Basij is trying to enhance hope in society by reflecting the country's achievements."
