Iran Press/ Iran News: Several positions of anti-Iran separatist and terrorist groups in northern Iraq have come under fresh combined attacks using missiles and kamikaze drones.
The attacks took place early Monday, targeting the positions of the notorious so-called Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) and the Komala Party, in the northern Iraqi Kurdistan region.
Addressing the reporters on the sidelines of the conference on the role of science and technology in sacred defense, which was held on Monday, Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi referred to the IRGC's attack, saying: "Until the enemies nested in a land continue their hostile activities against the Islamic Republic and carry out operations and martyr our people, the IRGC's attacks will continue."
According to Admiral Fadavi, the Iraqi authorities had already been warned that there are separatist groups such as the so-called Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) and the Komala Party in the places attacked, and if they continue their activities against the Islamic Republic, the IRGC will attack.
Referring to the superiority of the IRGC in intelligence regarding these separatist groups, the deputy commander of the IRGC said: "We know exactly how many troops are stationed in each location and we even make sure that their families are not with them and then we carry out the attack."
