Tehran (IP) - Commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Hossein Salaami said on Friday that the enemies are extremely concerned about Iran’s action, which is why their forces have retreated into a defensive shell.

Iran PressIran News: Iranian people on Friday, November 4, 2022 (13th Aban in the Persian calendar) marked "National Students Day and National Day of Fighting Global Arrogant Powers and Imperialism" by attending nationwide rallies.

Today's rallies were a remembrance of November 4, 1979, when Iranian students took over the US Den of Spies (US embassy) in Tehran in protest of numerous US conspiracies against the Islamic Revolution.

In his remarks on the sidelines of the massive rallies in Tehran, the IRGC commander underscored that the enemies have become frustrated with their anti-Iran policies.

General Salami noted that the Iranian people are demanding a strong response to the crimes of the Shah Cheragh terrorist attack in southern Iran.

He emphasized that Iran will respond to the enemies' interference and evil actions at the right time.

A terrorist gunman opened fire on the worshippers at Shah Cheragh holy shrine in Shiraz, southern Iran, on October 26, killing 13, including two children, and wounding 30 others.

The attacker was injured and arrested but succumbed to injuries shortly after being taken to the hospital.

ISIS terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
