Iran Press/Iran news: Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, on Wednesday, arrived in Tehran leading a prominent delegation.
In his visit to Tehran, the Iraqi Prime Minister met with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament.
Additionally, this morning, Mohammad Shia al-Sudani also met with and held talks with Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran.
One of the key objectives of Al-Sudani's visit to Tehran is to discuss bilateral relations and explore ways for boosting bilateral ties, particularly in the context of the accomplishments stemming from the Islamic Republic of Iran's visit to Iraq. Additionally, the discussions will include regional issues.
Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian embarked on his inaugural foreign journey to Iraq on September 11, 2024. Throughout this three-day visit, he toured the cities of Baghdad, Karbala, Najaf, Basra, and the Kurdistan Region.
