Tehran (IP): The Iraqi Minister of Justice and his accompanying delegation arrived in Tehran at the invitation of the Iranian Minister of Justice.

Iran PressIran News:  According to Iran Press News Agency, Iraqi Minister of Justice Abdul Sattar Mohammad and his accompanying delegation arrived in Tehran this morning (Monday) at the invitation of the Iranian Justice Minister Amin Hussein Rahimi.

The four-day visit is aimed at holding meetings with Iran's Minister of Justice, senior officials of the Iranian Judiciary as well as exploring ways to expand and deepen relations legally and judicially.

Welcoming the Iraqi Minister of Justice, Mahmoud Abbasi, Deputy Minister of Justice for Human Rights and International Affairs, expressed hope that the visit would expand and deepen relations between the two countries and pave the way for the exchange of convicts between the two countries.

Iranian officials, including the former Iranian Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi and then-Minister of Justice Alireza Avaei, visited Iraq last year.
