Iran Press/ Middle East: The cultural exhibition introducing the sacrifice of martyrs of the resistance is open until January 3, 2023, in Baghdad, which is the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.
This year, Iraqis commemorated the third anniversary of the martyrdom of Lt Gen Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis by holding special programs in Baghdad and other Iraqi cities for twenty days.
Dozens of stalls have been opened in this exhibition, aimed at introducing the sacrifice of Lt Gen Martyr Soleimani, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and other commanders of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).
Different walks of life of Iraqi people, political and religious figures, heads of clans and especially Iraqi youths have welcomed the cultural exhibition introducing the sacrifice of martyrs of resistance.
Lt General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis played an important role in the defeat of the ISIS terrorist outfit in Iraq and Syria.
On January 3, 2020, when Lt General Soleimani entered Baghdad for a trip at the invitation of the then-Iraqi government, his convoy was targeted by a missile attack by American drones by the direct order of former US President Donald Trump and he was martyred along with his companions, including Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.
