Tehran (IP) - Meeting with a Chinese delegation, Iran's Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs said Tehran, in its foreign policy, has no compromise over its territorial integrity.

Iran PressIran News: Mohammad Hosseini told the head of the delegation, Chen Gang, a member of the Chinese Central Communist Party, Iran maintains friendly relations with other countries and expects them to recognize the protection of its territorial integrity and national sovereignty.

Hosseini referred to the 25-year comprehensive agreement between Iran and China and said: "Today, the presidents and officials of the two countries have a strong will to implement the 25-year strategic cooperation document."

He pointed to the West's struggle to tarnish the world's general public about Iran through the media and said each of the foreign delegations and tourists who travel to Iran recognizes the fake news of the Western media about the existing realities in the country.

Chen Gang, for his part, highlighted his country's high respect for the Iranian culture and civilization, saying Tehran and Beijing can further their ties through the existing capacities. 

Gang noted: "Iran and China, as two big countries in west and east of Asia can strengthen their relations through increasing political mutual trust, and can be effective in consolidating the relations of the Asian countries." 

Appreciating Iran's support for Chinese national sovereignty, the member of the Chinese Central Communist Party said that his country considers itself obliged to support Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
