Iran Press/ Iran News: On Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry in a statement said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had spoken by telephone with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian about issues related to the JCPOA.
A statement from Russia's Foreign Ministry said Lavrov and Amir-Abdollahian discussed JCPOA in the context of the resumption of the Vienna talks (lifting of sanctions).
Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian discussed the recent problems caused by the export of Iranian agri-products to Russian with his counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
The two ministers further described the trip as an important development in bilateral relations and a good opportunity to expand and deepen ties between the two nations.
Lavrov expressed satisfaction with the upcoming visit of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi to Moscow and noted that all necessary preparations are already in place for the visit. 219
