Iran Press/Iran News: Sheida Mirloo, the head of the project said on Sunday that the goal of the project was to build a smart system to diagnose atherosclerosis out of eyes image.
Mirloo said the eyes image data of nearly 100 patients and 90 healthy people were collected in the project and added that with 93% confidence, it is possible to diagnose the disease from the iris of the eyes.
Diagnosing atherosclerosis in the early stages of a patient will greatly help the medical community and patients to treat the disease, the head of the research project said.
