Iran Press/ Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Monday, Abbas Moghtadaei noted that said that the strategic law and the timing of the lifting of sanctions are being considered by the parties in Vienna talks.
He added that the parties are trying to conclude the negotiations within the legal timeframe given by the parliament to the government, adding that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is also running out of time and trying to conclude the negotiations.
Referring to the negotiations held in recent weeks in Vienna, he stated that the experts’ negotiations have been done in technical aspects and are still underway.
The Iranian lawmaker added that the Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly emphasized the complete lifting of sanctions, dismissing any step for a step plan, adding: "The West wanted to force Iran to negotiate. Still, with the new measures taken, including the new plan of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and 60% enrichment of Uranium, the goal of the West was not achieved. The Islamic Republic of Iran is negotiating on equal terms."
Moghtadaei noted: "Iran insists on the complete lifting of sanctions, and the West accepted some of them, and some are in talks."
Stressing that the resistance of the Iranian nation has yielded results, he said that the parliament's action of not fulfilling more than commitments to the West has been effective.
Moghtadaei stressed that the West must restore Iran's lost interests in the Iran Nuclear Deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Pointing out that the future of the Vienna talks is clear and will have good results, he noted that the negotiating team and the Iranian parliament emphasize the interests of the Iranian people at the highest level.
