(IP) - Iran's Deputy Chief of Judiciary for International Affairs says that the members of the terrorist Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) must be extradited to Iran.

Iran PressIran news: MKO terrorist group is responsible for the assassination of more than 17,000 Iranians, including members of parliament, high-ranking government and military officials, citizens, and foreigners.

Referring to the verdicts issued against some members of the MKO group in Iran's courts, Kazem Gharibabadi said that the judicial measures pertaining to the conviction of some MKO members in the near future are accelerated.  

Kazem Gharibabadi added that even if the European countries plan to give shelter to the MKO terrorist members, they should also put them (MKO members) on trial.

The Iranian official, calling the MKO terrorists a "huge problem," warned the host countries about their criminal acts to be carried out in the host countries.

Law enforcement officials seized several unconventional electronic devices, including drones, during a recent raid on the MKO, according to a statement by Albania's Interior Ministry issued on June 20.

Since the very beginning of the victory of the Islamic revolution, the MKO members have committed massive crimes with their approach to assassinations and armed actions.

The members of MKO assassinated many Iranian officials, revolutionary figures, and ordinary people within the period of two years, from 1979 to 1981, and took responsibility for all the assassinations.

The bombing of the headquarters of the Islamic Republican Party on June 28, 1981, the explosion of the Iranian Prime Minister's office, the organization of mass operation in July 1988 under the name of 'Forough Javidan,' simultaneous attacks on Iranian embassies and consulates in 13 countries in April 1992, bombing in the Imam Reza Shrine, the 8th Imam of Shias in Mashhad, on June 20, 1994, which left 25 martyred and 70 injured, is just a part of the brutal actions of the MKO terrorist group, which was carried out with the support of US, France, and its other supporters.
