Iran Press/Middle East: The Asian Youth Championship wrestling matches for U20 and U15 categories in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman sections are taking place in Amman, Jordan.
The competition commenced on Wednesday, July 19, and the first five weight categories initiated their competition on the same day.
Ebrahim Khovari won silver in the 57 kg weight category after losing to Yudit from India 7-4 in the final match.
Ebrahim Elahi, in the 65 kg weight category, advanced to the finals yesterday but lost to India's Singh Jaskaran in the final match and gained the silver medal.
Still, Ali Rezaei won Iran's first gold medal in the 70 kg weight category by defeating Taishin Yamaji from Japan with a score of 8:0 in the final match.
Farzad Safi Jahanshahi in the 79 kg weight category won a silver medal in a final match against Sagar Jaglan from India.
