Iran Press/ Iran news: The drill stretches from Abadan to Chabahar along the Persian Gulf coast, encompassing the territorial and maritime waters of Oman.
Brigadier General Qader Rahimzadeh, commander of the Khatam-al Anbiya Joint Air Defense Headquarters, announced the initiation of the operational stage on Thursday afternoon.
He added that selected units from the Army Air Defense Force, IRGC Aerospace Force, Iranian Air Force, Iranian Navy, IRGC Navy, and elements of the Army's ground forces will partake in the exercise.
"The drill will be conducted under the unified command of the Khatam Al-Anbiya Joint Air Defense Joint Base," General Rahimzadeh emphasized.
He further disclosed that the exercise features a unique blend of indigenous and innovative tactics, specifically designed to counter present and evolving global threats.
