Iran Press/ Middle East: During a meeting on Monday night, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahdi Shoushtari, in Sulaimaniyah, and Mohammad Haji Mahmoud, Secretary-General of the Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party, discussed the developments in Iraq after the formation of the new government.
The relations between the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and Baghdad, the internal developments in the Kurdistan Region, and the bilateral relations between Tehran and Baghdad were also among the topics discussed by the two sides.
