In addition to his triumph in rapid chess, Iran's Grand Master also achieved a commendable fifth-place finish in the standard competitions.
The success adds to Iran's growing presence and achievements in the international chess scene, with previous victories by players such as Mohammad Amin Tabatabaei at Airflot Russia and Parham Maqsoodlou securing third place at the Prague Masters.
