Iran's national rowing team won 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals in the Asian Rowing Championship.

Iran PressAsia: The Asian Rowing Championship was held on October 10-13 in the city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and the Iranian national team with 5 athletes, including Mahsa Javar, Zeynab Nowrozi, Kimia Zarei, Fateme Majalal and Amirhossein Mahmoudpour, participated in these competitions.

On the last day of these competitions, Amirhossein Mahmoodpour faced competitors from Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, and Iraq in the men's light-weight single rowing in the final, and in the end, he stood on the second platform with a time of 7:35.333 minutes and won silver. In this category, athletes from Iraq and Vietnam won gold and bronze, and athletes from China and Uzbekistan won gold and silver.

In the last competition, the representatives of our country, Kimia Zarei and Fateme Majalal, faced competitors from Singapore, China, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong and Kazakhstan in heavy-weight double rowing, and in the end, they finished third with a time of 8:14.748 minutes and won the bronze medal. In this category, athletes from China and Uzbekistan won gold and silver.

Based on this, the Iranian team ended its work in the Asian Rowing Championship by winning 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze.  219
