The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has officially confirmed the venue for the upcoming match between Iran and Qatar in the fourth round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Iran Press/ West Asia:  The match, initially scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, at Imam Reza Stadium in Mashhad, Iran, has been relocated to a neutral venue following a decision by the AFC.

The confederation announced that the game will now take place at Maktoum bin Rashid Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This announcement comes after Iran's national team recently played Uzbekistan in Tashkent, a match that ended in a goalless draw.
