IP - On the fifth day of the 2023 World Youth MuayThai Championship at U-23 level, Iran secured a bronze medal.

Iran PressAsia: The tournament is currently being held in Antalya, Turkey, for athletes aged between 10-11 years old, in the -38 kg weight category.

Mohammad Ali Mazaheri lost to Estonia's fighter in the semi-finals and earned the bronze medal. 

In addition, Setareh Morshedi reached the semi-finals in the 16-17 age category, competing at a weight of 60 kilograms.

Zahra Kianpour previously finished as the runner-up in the -67 kg weight category, while Kiarash Ahmadi Chegeni won a bronze medal in -86 kg.

Maedeh Sadeghzadeh also secured a bronze medal in the 12-13 age category, competing at -36 kg.

On the sixth day of the tournament, Setareh Morshedi will face an athlete from Morocco with hopes of reaching the finals.
