Iran Press/ Iran News: On Tuesday, Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi received the Speaker of the Algerian People's National Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali, who arrived in Tehran on Sunday while heading a high-ranking delegation.
Noting that Iran has turned into a technological country despite the West's pressures, Ebrahim Raisi told the Speaker of the Algerian People's National Assembly Ibrahim Boughali that the Islamic Republic is ready to share its experiences and achievements with the friend country Algeria.
Raisi said the activation of the joint commission for economic cooperation between Iran and Algeria and the preparation of a roadmap for the bilateral relations can effectively facilitate the expansion of ties between the two countries in different fields.
He appreciated Algeria's explicit positions about the issue of the Islamic world, especially the issue of Palestine and the Israeli regime's occupation, and said:
"Given the common views on regional and international issues, Iran and Algeria can have constructive and useful cooperation for the benefit of their nations and the Islamic world."
The Algerian Speaker Ibrahim Boughali, for his part, referred to the recent repetitive desecration of Islamic sanctities in the West as well as the Israeli regime's intensification of its actions against the Palestinian nation, stressing the unity of the Islamic countries and their firm positions to stop such incidents.
He said that Iran is a pivotal power and relies on an ancient civilizational and cultural background, and noted that the more Iran gets powerful, the stronger the Islamic world become.
Boughali expressed his satisfaction with improving diplomatic ties between Iran and Algeria and called for expanding economic ties between the two countries.
