Iran PressIran news: Delivering a speech on Thursday among the Islamic countries' ambassadors to Tehran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran is satisfied with the restoration of relations with Saudi Arabia in recent months through diplomacy and negotiation.

On March 10, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to reestablish diplomatic ties after three days of intensive talks brokered by China.

Prior to the March 10 agreement, Iraq and Oman had hosted several rounds of talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Amir-Abdollahian pointed to Hajj rituals and described it as an opportunity to dialogue between Islamic scholars and Muslims, where a better understanding of the new world order and international issues are shaped.

He noted: "Undoubtedly, the enemies of the Islamic world designed extensive plots to divide Islamic countries, and what happened in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria in recent years is part of the plots of the enemies of the Ummah and Islamic countries."

The Iranian foreign minister highlighted the Palestinian issue and the meeting with his Saudi counterpart, saying:  "We agree that the Islamic world must continue to focus on the issue of Palestine as the main issue, to be vigilant about the actions of the Israeli apartheid regime and do not let Palestine to be undermined."
