Iran: US should listen to voice of its people

Tehran (IP) - Following the US police violent confrontation with protesters in Minneapolis, Iran's Foreign Ministry said that the United States must listen to its people and change its failed and bankrupted policies.

Iran PressIran news: "The United States must listen to its people and change its failed and bankrupted policies," the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran tweeted on Sunday. 

Iran Foreign Ministry added: "Failed to keep its promise of stopping wasting money on foreign adventurism and embattled in a COVID-19 crisis of its own making, the US regime now employs army, 'vicious dogs and ominous weapons' to intimidate protesters."

The death of George Floyd, an African-American man, in Minneapolis by police violent measures on May 25, 2020, caused a lot of unrest in American cities.

Businesses, gas stations, and police cars have burned to the ground as the city has seen extensive damage in the aftermath of George Floyd's killing.
