Iran Press/ Iran news: In a video call on Monday, Ali Asghar Khaji and Geir Pedersen stressed the importance of resolving the crisis in Syria through political dialogue along with solving the humanitarian issues and the return of the refugees.
Khaji pointed out the harsh situation being experienced by the Syrians, stressing the urgent need to revoke the unjust sanctions imposed on Syria as soon as possible, in addition to halting the ongoing plunder of its resources along with providing international assistance.
The Iranian diplomat voiced his hope that the UN offices, mainly the UNHCR, would contribute to returning the Syrians to their homeland.
