Iran Press/ Iran News: In a press conference, which was held on Tuesday, Mahmoud Vaezi, the head of the Faculty of Theology of Tehran University, said: As the oldest university in Iran, this faculty has educated personalities such as Martyr Motahari and Martyr Mufateh.
He added: Tehran University has professors who believe in world peace, and religion should bring peace as well.
Later, Mustafa Zulfaghar Talab, the person in charge of organizing the conference, referred to the position of women in the Islamic Ummah and highlighted the importance of media. He said: Media and women are the main axes of this conference.
He added: Paying attention to Palestine and the fact that it can be a common turning point for the liberation of the Islamic Ummah from the oppressors is another focus of this conference.
50 thinkers from 15 countries including Tunisia, Algeria, Jordan, Canada and Egypt plus 150 local thinkers and a total of 500 people are the guests of this conference, he pointed out.
The second international conference on peaceful coexistence, the convergence of the Islamic world and the horizon of civilization will be held on Saturday morning, June 10, at Tehran University.
