Rome (IP) - As part of a project to support the translation of Persian works into other languages, the Italian translation of the book "Iran; the Cradle of Peaceful Coexistence of Religions" has been published by the Cultural Counselor of the Iranian Embassy in Italy.

Iran PressEurope: This book, written by Zahra Rashid-Beigi, was unveiled in 2017 by the Center for Dialogue of Religions and Culture of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication of Iran.

In addition to Italian, the book has been translated into several other languages, including English and Russian.

Ms. Giorgia Dorigon did the Italian translation of this book. This book is published in 266 color illustrated pages by IL CERCHIO Publications.

Part of the introduction to this book, written by Mohammad Taghi Amini, Iran's cultural advisor in Italy, states: "Strategic and historical components have made Iran and Italy host to different ethnicities and religions, and certainly there are many commonalities between different religions."

"Cultural solidarity between religions can be established by emphasizing commonalities. Therefore, mutual familiarity with this internal discourse has become one of the inevitable components of promoting mutual understanding between Iran and Italy," wrote the Iranian Cultural Adviser in Italy.
