Tehran (IP) - The CEO of Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company (IGEDC) announced the signing of a contract to export 40 Iranian-made turbines to Russia.

Iran PressIran News: Reza Noshadi said Iran’s gas output has doubled under the severe sanctions, adding that the industrial successes of the country are not limited to missiles and drones, and now 85% of the facilities and equipment needed by the gas industry have been built inside the country and based on this capability, a contract has recently been signed for the export of 40 Iranian-made turbines to Russia.

Analyzing the disruption of the Americans in the field of global gas trade, he said: “In recent years, the United States of America has widely launched LNG production plants, and recently, with the comprehensive embargo on Russia and then the explosion in the Nord Stream gas pipeline, it has practically squeezed one of its biggest competitors out of the market.”
