Iran Press/ Iran News: In comparison to 2022, the export value of Mazandaran province has increased by 30% and reached $ 30 m in 2023.
Managing director of investment of Mazandaran Governorate Rahim Bakshi on Saturday, May 20, 2023, said that Mazandaran's "non-oil products", including dairy, citrus fruits, knowledge-based products, and disposable containers, are exported to Iraq, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Romania, Afghanistan, and India.
Pointing out the $ 500 m export value of Mazandaran in 2022, he said, "The economic diplomacy of the administration of Raisi and signing on a memorandum of investment between Mazandaran Governorate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran will promote Mazandaran's economy."
"Keeping international standards, packaging and processing of agricultural products are basic procedures to increase earnings from export in the province," he stated.
