Iran Press/ Asia: Ali Asghar Mounesan who has traveled to China, upon his arrival at the Beijing airport on Thursday said that China sends annually 150 million tourists out of the country and is of the top ones in the tourism field.
Describing tourism as a tool for peace, dialogue and peaceful interaction among the nations, he said that mankind is naturally inclined to forge communications with the others and tourism facilitates the issue, Iran Press reported.
"Iranian people are very interested to visit China and get familiar with its culture and that's for the same reason that the number of Iranians visiting China exceeds Chinese traveling to Iran," he added.
Mounesan further noted that his ministry has always tried to ease the entrance of the Chinese visitors to Iran.
Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism has left Tehran to Beijing to participate in the international meeting of tourism ministers of Ancient Civilizations.
China is the most important source of supplying tourists in the world, and nearly 150 million Chinese traveled overseas in 2018.Since 2011, Iran also was added to the list of China's tourism destinations.
