Iran Press/ Iran news: In a joint presser with his Syrian counterpart, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian here in Tehran, Faisal Mekdad referring to his talks with Amir-Abdollahian, pointed out that these talks would improve Iran-Syria relations and create a brighter future for the countries in the region.
“It’s beneficial for all countries that the Middle East would be a place to develop security, without the foreigners’ interference,” he added.
“Iran-Syria economic relations were among discussed issues with Amir-Abdollahian and also President Raisi to deepen these relations and expand them to other countries in the region,” Mekdad concluded.
“We also talked about Afghanistan since the situation in Afghanistan has affects the general condition of the region,” he said.
“We agree with Iran about Afghanistan, fighting terrorism, and creating friendly relations between neighboring countries and Afghanistan,” he added.
Faisal Mekdad stated: “We believe in the Iranian official’s abilities in Vienna talks and hope that they unveil the Israeli Regime’s lies.”
Regarding the Vienna talks, he noted that if the Americans do not return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), it means that they do not want negotiations to have results and meet the Israeli Regime’s benefits.
“All countries have the right to defend themselves and have missiles,” he said.
Referring to his talks with Amir-Abdollahian, Mekdad pointed out that these talks would improve Iran-Syria relations and create a brighter future for the countries in the region.
