Iran’s new ambassador to Oman, in a meeting with Oman's King Haitham bin Tariq Al-Saeed, said Tehran’s priority is to develop economic relations with Muscat. 

Iran PressMiddle East: Iran’s new Ambassador to Oman Ali Najafi submitted his credentials to Oman's King Haitham bin Tariq Al-Saeed, at a ceremony at Al-Baraka Palace.

In the ceremony held on Sunday, Iran's ambassador congratulated the anniversary of Oman's National Day. 

Referring to the 50th anniversary of establishing official relations between Iran and Oman, Najafi expressed hope that the ties between the two countries deepen in the light of the wise approach of Iranian and Omani top officials. 

The Iranian ambassador to Oman stressed that his priority is to develop economic relations.

For his part, Oman's King stressed that his country seeks to strengthen ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressing his country's readiness to expand cooperation between the two countries.
