Iran Press/ Iran News On the occasion of the birthday of the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussein (AS), Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif commemorated martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, congratulating Iran's Guards Corps' Day to the IRGC personnel of the country.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also praised the efforts of the country's medical staff who are people's healthcare guards in these days, along with the courageous military officials.
In the Islamic Republic of Iran, the third of Sha'ban (Saturday) which is the birthday of Imam Hussein (AS) is celebrated as the Day of “Guards Corps”.
