Late Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Saeed al Saeed passed away late Friday 10 January, aged 79.
Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Saeed, 65, Minister of Heritage and Culture in the Sultanate of Oman and a member of the Al Saeed Omani royal family has been declared as the country's new Sultan.
