Iranian vice President, Mohammad Reza Aref who had traveled to Qatar to attend fueral procession of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh met with with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of Qatar to discuss bilateral ties.

Iran Press/West Asia: Iran’s Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref left for Doha, the Qatari capital, to attend the funeral of Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh this morning.

Before leaving for Doha, Aref said that the message of the Iranian people and the Islamic Revolution is solidarity with the oppressed and resistant people of Palestine and the ideas that pertain to the liberation of the holy Quds from the Zionists’ occupation.

The meeting between Iranian and Qatari officials dealt with discussing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the means to enhance them, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
