Iran Press/Middle East: The Iranian U-21 volleyball team outfought Italy 3-2 (25-21, 23-25, 23-25, 25-16 and 15-9).
The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship was held in Manama, Bahrain, on July 7-16. Securing eight consecutive victories over their opponents, Iran remained undefeated and stood at the top of the championship.
In two separate messages, President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian expressed gratitude to the young Iranian volleyball players for bringing joy and happiness to the Iranian nation after winning the world title.
