Iran (IP) - Iran's Office of Vice President for Science and Technology says the country is among the top five in the region in producing video games.

Iran PressIran news: The involvement of the Iranian knowledge-based companies in developing videogames, mingled with the support of the Office of the Vice President for Science and Technology, has led to the growth of the industry in the country.

Despite discrimination in cyberspace, Iranian video games have managed to enter the global markets, including Google Play, gaining global popularity.

The industry has a turnover of $150 billion in the world and a turnover of $500 million in Iran. 

Mobile and computer games are among the innovative, income-generating, and job-creating industries in the world, where Iran's share has increased with the production of homemade products.
