Iran Press/ Iran news: Hadi Tahan-Nazif said on Saturday that the bill was discussed several times between the parliament and the Guardian Council, and finally, in recent weeks, this bill was approved by the Guardian Council.
Speaking to the reporters in his weekly presser, Tahan-Nazif stated, "The Constitution has special attention to the family. Article 10 of the Constitution has stipulated safeguarding the family, so we hope to make a family-oriented society."
Approving the amendments to the International Convention on the Standards of Training, Certification, and Protecting Seafarers, he said that the bill was not contrary to Islamic law and the Constitution.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the spokesman referred to the car imports bill and has said no permission has yet been received on regulating the car industry, stressing that the car industry should be regulated and the cars should be sold at a reasonable price and quality.
Tahan-Nazif stated: "We are not familiar with car import. Of course, the opponents and the proponents discussed in the parliament and in cyberspace. Our mission in the GC is merely to examine the car import regulations being compatible with the law."
"Of course, we are not seeking to make obstacles for the import of cars, but looking for a solution," said the spokesman and noted, " The ratifications of the parliament should not be against the constitution."
