Iran Press/ Europe: UNINASSAU-PE (Brazil) team managed to defeat the University of Tehran (Iran) team 6-2, winning the Festival’s Gold.
In the match, Sajjad Adelipour and Mehdi Gudarzi scored for Iran.
Moscow State Academy of Physical Education was the bronze medalist of the Festival.
The University International Sports Festival 2023 is being held in Ekaterinburg, Russia on August 19-31. Participants are from Afghanistan, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Brazil, China, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, India, Iran, Iraq, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Mongolia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Serbia, South Ossetia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam, Zimbabwe.
A total of 193 medals in 14 sports competitions will be in the game.
