Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs said that Arbaeen march is a symbol of fight against oppression, calling for freedom and an example of the endless struggle to achieve justice in the world.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a message that was published in "Al-Zora" and "Al-Sabah" newspapers of Iraq, added: "As one of the largest gatherings of human society in the world, the Arbaeen march is a huge, original and rooted movement in which millions of Muslims from all over the world of different nationalities, colors and languages gather every year to commemorate martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS).

Iran's top diplomat stated that faith in religion, trusting in God, ethics, justice, defending the oppressed of the world, the proximity of Islamic countries, confronting the arrogant and the realization of the idea of a single Islamic nation are among the basic elements of the Arbaeen procession.

Amir-Abdollahian also evaluated the Arbaeen pilgrimage as a successful example of the good neighborly policy between Iran and Iraq.

Amir-Abdollahian considered the popular and voluntarily aspect of  serving Arbaeen piligrims to be another remarkable feature of the Arbaeen march and added: "The Arbaeen procession has been able to show all the human aspects of a public event at the world level, and this factor has made Arbaeen become a manifestation of friendly and brotherly relations between the two nations of Iran and Iraq."

He pointing out that for many years, the Iraqi people have provided services to Arbaeen pilgrims of all nationalities, especially Iranians, regardless of religious and ethnic differences, added: "The love of Imam Hussein (AS) has connected the people of Iran and Iraq, and Arbaeen is a beautiful image of friendship, sacrifice, hospitality and solidarity between the two nations." 219
