Iran Press/ America: The Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in New York has sent a letter to the Ambassador of Japan, who is the rotating chairman of the Security Council this month (January), referring to the emergency meeting of the Council regarding the situation in West Asia, including the issue Palestine condemned the baseless accusations of the Zionist regime against Iran.

The senior diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran, referring to the recent events in the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque, emphasized: It is unfortunate that the Zionist regime's actions in serious violation of human rights and international humanitarian laws in the occupied Palestinian territories, including systematic and open insulting actions and desecration of holy and honorable places, have no consequences from the international community.
Pointing to the sensitivity of Muslims around the world to any desecration of their holy places, Irwani added: If the international community, especially the Security Council, remains silent about the ongoing aggressions of the Zionist regime, this regime will find the courage to continue with more crimes and aggressions.
