Caracas (IP) - Iran's Minister of Defense Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh met with Nicolás Maduro, the President of Venezuela.

Iran Press/America: During his official visit to Venezuela, Iran's Minister of Defense Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, held a meeting with Venezuela's President, furthering his series of diplomatic engagements.

During this meeting, Maduro heralded a new era in bilateral relations with Iran, noting: "We are profoundly dismayed by the egregious atrocities perpetrated against Palestinian youths, women, and men, and we unequivocally stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people in their unrelenting quest for fundamental rights." He further emphasized, "Ultimately, Palestine's triumph is inextricably linked to the unwavering support of humanity at large."

Brigadier General Nasarzadeh also stated during the meeting that Iran would spare no effort in strengthening cooperation and would support entrepreneurs in advancing their knowledge, reflecting the firm desire of both nations' leaders.

Prior to his meeting with Maduro, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh held discussions with Delcy Rodríguez, Vice President and Minister of Oil of Venezuela.

In this session, both parties discussed strategies to enhance their relations to strengthen future collaborations. They emphasized the necessity of following up on agreements to ensure their effective implementation.
