Iran Press/Iran news: The Commander of Iran's Army Aviation, Brigadier General Yousef Ghorbani, participated in a press conference on Saturday to explain the latest achievements of the unit.
He told reporters that Iran tops the West Asian region about the maintenance and overhaul of the Avian unit after 45 years.
"We have reached the highest level of aviation combat readiness in the West Asian, despite the imposed sanctions," the commander noted.
General Ghorbani said that despite the ban on the parts necessary to overhaul the helicopters, Army Aviation has manufactured different components used in the unit's helicopters.
