Iran Press/ Middle East: Iran's ambassador to Oman Ali Najafi met Wednesday with Shihab bin Tarik bin Taimur Al-Said, Oman's Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, stressing extensive cooperation between Iran and Oman in the field of defense.
He went on to say that the two nations enjoy capability in the area of defense, describing the mutual ties as significant.
Referring to the historical and privileged relations between Iran and Oman, the Deputy Prime Minister of Oman for Defense Affairs also expressed hope that the relations between the two countries would develop in various fields.
Shahab bin Tariq al-Saeed noted that the cooperation of both sides will be to the benefit of the region.
Ali Najafi also delivered Iran's ministry of defense message to the Shihab bin Tarik bin Taimur Al-Said.
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Najafi on 18 November met with the chairman of Oman's consultative assembly Shura Council Khalid bin Hilal al-Ma'awal, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Oman National Day.
In the meeting, two sides emphasized the expansion of parliamentary relations between the two countries.
