Moscow (IP)- The Iranian ambassador in Moscow and the representative of the Russian president in West Asian affairs met and discussed the topics of interest.

Iran PressEurope: Iran and Russia share strategic interests in bilateral fields, mainly economic, military, and security relations, as well as regional and international issues such as confronting the US unilateralism, which has been one of the main factors of close cooperation between the two sides in recent years.

Kazem Jalali, Iran's ambassador to Moscow, met with Mikhail Bogdanov, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and African countries.

In the meeting, issues related to bilateral relations between Tehran and Moscow, as well as regional developments, were discussed.

Also, last night, the Iranian ambassador met with Igor Levitin, the Russian president's aide.

According to the ambassador, the focus of his talks with this Russian official was the North-South Corridor.
