Iran Press/ Middle East: Mehdi Sobhani, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Syria, said in an interview with the Al-Ahd website: "Tehran strongly condemns the occupation of Syria by any country. Mehdi Sobhani also added: "The United States is no longer able to determine the fate of the region, but new powers have emerged and one of these powers is the axis of resistance, and today, the court to play and the strategy has changed."
The Iranian ambassador to Syria stressed: "Due to extensive sanctions, and economic war both countries are facing, economic and trade cooperation between Iran and Syria and Iran's participation in the reconstruction of Syria is very important."
