Tehran (IP) - Iranian Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated the arrival of Africa Day.

Iran Press/Iran news: Ali Bagheri Kani, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, wrote on the X social platform: "The arrival of Africa Day is a reminder of solidarity, brotherhood and the establishment of the African Union, a lasting legacy for future generations."

The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that the African Union, with its countless opportunities and capacities, will witness increasing growth, progress and prosperity so the African nations would benefit from more success.

May 25 is named Africa Day. On May 25, 1963, the African Union (OAU) was established; On this day, the leaders of 30 countries out of the 32 in the African continent signed a charter in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, to establish this union, and this day is celebrated to maintain unity and integrity in this continent. 219
