Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking on Saturday at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of a virtual mission office of St. Petersburg University in Tehran, Mahmoud Nili-Ahmadabadi, the president of the University of Tehran, said the "Encyclopedia of Iranistica" is going to be compiled with the support of two universities.
Nili-Ahmadabadi emphasized the development of bilateral cooperation between the two universities, adding: "The conclusion of this memorandum will help develop cooperation."
"In 2018, a center for Iranian studies and research was opened at the university," said Nikolay Kropachev, president of St. Petersburg University in Russia.
The President of the University of St. Petersburg, Russia added: "The University of Tehran is one of the best and closest colleagues of the University of St. Petersburg."
The purpose of the encyclopedia is to provide an accurate and clear picture of Iran to Russian-speaking audiences anywhere in the world.
