Iran Press/Iran News: Simultaneously with the reopening of the Incheh-Burun railway border and the start of a new round of trade between Iran and Turkmenistan, 30 wagons of cement shipments worth about 2,000 tonnes were exported to Turkmenistan on Tuesday evening.
Trade exchanges between Iran and Turkmenistan have resumed while observing health protocols, and wagons will be transported through disinfection tunnels along the Incheh-Burun border.
In the coming days, following the reopening of the Inche-Burun border, more than 100 wagons carrying non-oil goods, including cement, plastics, ceramic tiles, steel bar, and ore, will be exported to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
According to Iranian customs, 144,000 tons of goods were exported across the border to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan last year.
