Tehran (IP) - More than 35,000 COVID-19 patients have recovered across Iran, Health Ministry Spokesman announced on Friday.

Iran Press/Iran news: Kianoush Jahanpour on Friday about the latest data on the deadly coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to April 10, 1,972 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 68,192."

"Fortunately, 35,465 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals so far," the Ministry of Health Spokesman added.

Jahanpour said: "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 122 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 4,232 people have lost their lives in the country to date."

He stated: "3,969 patients are in a critical condition."

Over 242,000 people have been tested from yesterday until Friday noon, according to Jahanpour.
